One question per page: who is this player, statistically — and who else plays like him? 5,146 players across two sources that are never blended: FBref 2017/18 – 2023/24 and FotMob 2020/21 – 2025/26.

How to read anything on this site
Every number carries its population. “0.44 npxG/90” is always “0.44 npxG/90 · 78th percentile of 143 CFs, Serie A 2025/26, ≥900 min, FotMob”. A radar axis is a percentile inside that population, drawn between its 5th and 95th percentile — the StatsBomb convention.
A radar is not a quality score. The 90th percentile in crosses is a style fact. Nothing here ranks players as better or worse.
The two eras never mix. FBref removed every xG and StatsBomb-derived statistic site-wide in 2026; the archive here is the only surviving copy and stops at 2023/24. FotMob is a separate source with different definitions and a physical block FBref never had — and no carry data at all, which is why it finds three attacking profiles where FBref finds four.
Similarity is a candidate generator. Neighbours' next-season output predicts worse than the player's own history.
Projections are descriptive. Marcel measures persistence. P-1 tested whether this project's information beats the market out of sample and found no such edge — the result is here.
